Why Earthing Resistance value is Important?
Purpose of earthing is to provide Resistance in a limited range value and this value should remain low as much as possible to provide easier path to current flow during abnormalities.
For Example - Earthing is Done to Protect the people who handle an equipment. in a properly earthed system when a conductor comes into contact with a metallic part due to insulation failure the current will flow through the not from human body when the person touching the metallic part accidentally.
