Neutral-Earth Voltage Stabilization & 120kA Surge Protection System
The “Voltage Shield” shall be a specially engineered Neutral-Earth Voltage Stabilization and Surge Protection System designed, manufactured, tested and supplied exclusively by SN Engineering for protection of sensitive electrical and electronic installations against transient surge voltage, neutral disturbance, harmonics, leakage fluctuation and unstable earthing conditions.
The system shall be suitable for installation in LT panels, PLC panels, automation systems, UPS installations, data centers, telecom infrastructure, CNC machinery, hospitals, laboratories, commercial buildings and industrial power distribution systems where stable Neutral-to-Earth voltage is critical for reliable operation of connected equipment.
The Voltage Shield system shall maintain Neutral-to-Earth voltage within safe operational limits not exceeding 1 Volt under standard operating conditions. The system shall continuously suppress induced transient voltages, electrical noise, harmonic disturbances and neutral fluctuations caused by non-linear loads, VFDs, SMPS systems, servo drives and industrial electronic equipment.
The offered system shall consist of coordinated high discharge capacity surge suppression modules, intelligent voltage monitoring and protection circuitry, harmonic suppression inductive stabilization network, neutral filtering assembly and low impedance copper interconnection arrangement integrated into a single engineered protection platform.
The Surge Protection Section shall utilize coordinated hybrid MOV and GDT technology with minimum surge discharge capacity of 120kA. The surge suppression arrangement shall provide protection in Line-to-Line, Line-to-Neutral and Neutral-to-Earth modes and shall be suitable for 3 Phase + Neutral electrical systems. The protection modules shall include thermal disconnection mechanism, visual health indication and fail-safe protection arrangement suitable for repeated surge operations.
The Voltage Monitoring & Protection Circuitry shall continuously supervise incoming voltage conditions including over-voltage, under-voltage, phase imbalance, neutral instability and abnormal voltage fluctuation. The monitoring system shall operate within voltage range of 280–600V AC (L-L) and shall provide output signaling contacts suitable for alarm annunciation, tripping and control integration with external systems.
The Neutral Stabilization Network shall incorporate specially designed heavy duty copper wound inductive filtering assembly manufactured using minimum 4 sq.mm high conductivity copper conductor with industrial grade insulation. The inductive stabilization assembly shall suppress high-frequency harmonics, leakage disturbances and transient neutral oscillations while maintaining stable neutral reference potential with earth.
The complete Voltage Shield system shall be engineered for continuous industrial duty operation and shall improve reliability of sensitive equipment by minimizing PLC malfunction, communication failure, nuisance tripping, electronic disturbance and data corruption caused due to unstable neutral and surge conditions.
All components shall be mounted on industrial grade DIN rail/panel mounting arrangement with copper interconnections, ferruled termination and industrial wiring practices suitable for electrical installations. The system shall comply with IEC 61643 and relevant industrial electrical safety standards.
The complete Voltage Shield system shall be manufactured and supplied only by SN Engineering. Equivalent products, partially matching systems or third-party assemblies shall not be accepted due to proprietary coordinated protection design, integrated stabilization technology and application-specific performance requirements.
